At UPT, I collaborated with the marketing and sales team to create a newsletter for our weapons endurance testing. I was tasked to edit multiple small video clips and put them together to create a cohesive video showcasing MIL-PRF testing. MIL-PRF-32711 is a US Military performance specification that establishes the requirements for an amorphous, solid Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating bonded to ferrous armament weapon systems. This was published to our newsletter for our subscribed client-base. Our primary targeted clientele was the US Army and Large gun manufacturers looking for DLC coatings. The objective was to validate that UPT's Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating could meet the rigorous requirements of MIL-PRF-32711. Completing live-fire testing across six weapons and more than 12,000 rounds per firearm allowed us to collect the performance data needed to evaluate coating durability, reliability, and weapon function under demanding operating conditions. The video clips were recorded through a Canon EOS Rebel T6. The editing software used was AfterEffects.
